As we know, the 2018 FIFA World Cup took place here, in Moscow and other big Russian cities. A lot of football fans were skeptical about Russia - they thought Russia was a cold and unfriendly country. Samara was one of 11 cities to host the 2018 FIFA World Cup willing to destroy these stereotypes. The idea of our project was to show Russian hospitality and that's why we decided to pay tribute to the nations coming to Russia for the 2018 World Cup. 11 artists created 11 giant murals dedicated to the most popular game in the world — football. The total area of artwork was 54000 sq ft.
